Working in social care can offer a fulfilling and varied career, and here at Continued Care we believe in giving every member of our team as many opportunities as possible to develop and build on their skills and ambitions.
Many of our staff have spent their working lives in the social care sector, and it is something they are passionate about and they can’t imagine doing anything else. But others have joined us following a change of career, often after re-evaluating what they want to achieve in their work and life.
In our new series Working in social care, we’ll be taking a look at the personal stories from some of our staff members. We’ll be finding out what led them to their role at Continued Care, what they love about their job and what ambitions they have as they develop their career in social care.
The series will also look at the different roles of our staff members, highlighting the opportunities available within Continued Care as well as the wider sector.

We are always looking for people to join our team who have a caring nature, are open to learning and will go the extra mile for others. Previous experience of working in home care or social care is not essential as we provide full induction for all our new starters, as well as free training to NVQ levels 2 and 3.
