Continued Care is a friendly, family-run business founded in 1993. We are based in Harrogate and cover the areas around Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Thirsk. Our team has a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise within the health and social care sector, and we are strong advocates of industry best practice.

We have been the sole provider of home care services for North Yorkshire County Council in Harrogate and Knaresborough for the last seven years.
We are known as leaders in our field and have won numerous awards for our work in the care industry as well as for our approach to staff development and training. Our director Samantha Harrison is an associate director of the Independent Care Group (iCG). For more than a decade until May 2025, she was among industry professionals working on a voluntary basis on the group’s board of directors. The non-profit iCG speaks up for social care and strives for a better future for the sector. It works on behalf of private and voluntary care homes, home care agencies, supported living, specialist extra care housing providers and day care centres across North Yorkshire and York.
